1. Download Microsoft Teams from https://teams.microsoft.com/downloads and install it on your computer or your mobile device.
  2. Upon opening Teams, use your GTIIT account to sign in at the first time. For example, ****@gtiit.edu.cn as the username and the corresponding password.
  3. If you have already submit the a ticket to Helpdesk or itsuport@gtiit.edu.cn, please keep your Teams online and pay attention to new messages. The support staff will reach you in Teams during office hours (8:30 – 17:30, Monday to Friday). 
  4. You can also contact one of our IT staff in Teams directly for any technical support. If you don’t know whom you should contact, you can contact Rachel Zhan for initial assistance, and then she will redirect you to the right support staff later. P.S.should you need assistance from other professional service units, such as Finance or HR, this communication channel is also workable if they are online.
  5. During the support session, you will usually need to share you screen to show and explain your issue to the support staff. You can also have video or voice call to a support staff.
  6. You might be asked to allow our IT staff to control your computer for fixing an issue remotely.
